Accepting that the 'way teachers relate to their colleagues has profound implications for … how they evolve and develop as teachers' (Hargreaves 1992: 217), this session will consider the importance of the emotional-relational dimension in beginning teaching by developing an understanding of the ability of blogging to engender affective engagement between learners.
