This edition provides teacher educators with much thought for their teacher education practice in a range of settings and contexts. Collectively, the papers inform our knowledge base about learning to teach. These teacher education researchers have investigated and theorised their own practices, positioned their studies within the available and relevant work in the field and then added to that body of knowledge with new findings, often also setting agendas for future research. They reflect the valuable work of teacher education research.
