Abstract

Sensitivity to the house dust mite allergen Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus 1(Der p1) is commonly associated with asthma in the UK. The warm, humid environment of modern homes favours the house dust mite population. This study investigated the effect of improved domestic ventilation on the control of asthma.
