Donald speaks to Claire about the privilege of being the first Head of the School of Education when the new Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was formed. He talks about the importance of Education as a university discipline, recalls his proudest moments and successes, and shares his fears for teacher education - and his eternal optimism.
