Abstract

This volume focusses on developing a more internationalised educational administration and leadership curriculum studies by drawing on the cultures and societies of non-Anglo-American countries and their knowledge and values traditions to inform both graduate and undergraduate curricula in these countries, and internationalised programmes in Anglo-American contexts where there are foreign students and faculty building a larger international framework in the field. This includes a theoretical foundation and critiques section consisting of Bernstein’s socio-cultural theory, critical and postcolonial critiques, and internationalisation models and strategies. The second section, curricular and pedagogical practices, examines new national frameworks for educational leadership in Oman, Canada, and to international students in Australia. The final section examines diverse populations in the country cases of Sweden, the US and UK, and Bahrain
