Numerical prediction of slam loads on a wedge shaped ship section during water entry is carried out using Computational fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques by employing Finite Volume Method (FVM) for discretization of the flow equations and Volume of Fluids scheme (VOF) for free-surface capturing.
