The issue of dispersal is important to the Scottish Tourism industry. When people arrive in the UK, invariably in London, how does the Scottish tourism product entice visitors to make the journey north? When a tourist actually does arrive in Scotland, invariably in Glasgow or Edinburgh, how then is he/she dispersed to other parts of Scotland? Indeed, is the tourist dispersed to other parts of Scotland? This paper will look further at these questions.
