Abstract

The introduction to the morning session on technical challenges to achieve repository/CRIS interoperability and integration explores the background of the attempts to make repositories and CRISs smartly work together. From the early stages of system interoperability in the early 2010s to the present-day integrations based on open source solutions, the quickly evolving landscape has seen a significant evolution in the past few years.
