As agents are considered as part of a mobile network solution, either to provide advanced services to users or to assist in network management, innovative and flexible architectures must be provided for them to operate within. The Common Agent Location and Execution Environment (CALExE) provides such an environment and has a number of security issues and features that need to be addressed. This paper presents a mapping of a security model into a management system architecture, CALExE, to provide the necessary security features. The proposed frameworks have been developed as a result of the Software Based Systems activities within the Mobile VCE Core 2 program.
