Abstract
In TESTA exercises at the University of Strathclyde and elsewhere, it is common for students to report that they are often unsure about staff expectations around assessments, about what they need to do to pass or 'do well', and that this lack of clarity impacts their confidence and performance in these assessments. In this week's Micro-CPD session, we would like to highlight the use of clearer, more comprehensive, and consistent assessment briefs as one way of addressing this issue at module and programme level.
