Abstract

The article by Leal Neto et al. focuses on exponential technological growth and the consequent changes in the current paradigms of health sciences. The text cites several specific cases, from the perspective of "disruptive innovations" and their impact on public health. In this commentary we will look at some of the cases cited by Leal Neto et al., Complementing his presentation with additional examples, reflecting on some challenges and opportunities inherent to digital health.
