Abstract
Summarises the measure introduced under the Cost of Living (Tenant Protection) (Scotland) Act 2022 (COLA), noting that most expired on 31 March 2024 but a new rent adjudication scheme governing in-tenancy rent increases from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 has been introduced. Focuses on the application of the scheme to private residential tenancies under the Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016.
