The development of a controllable Continuous-Wave (CW) Raman lasers for medical and sensing applications is presented. An adaptive optics (AO)-based feedback control loop featuring an intracavity deformable mirror (DM) was integrated to a self-Raman Nd:YVO4 laser to compensate for the complex thermal lensing occurring in the gain medium. This resulted in power scaling of the Raman output beam by up to ~31%. Discrete wavelength selection between two Raman laser outputs is also presented.
