Abstract

The weak solvating ligand 1,4-dimethylpiperazine appears to only partially disrupt the aggregation within lithium anilide, as evidenced by the structure of the title solvate: a three-dimensional polymer of solvent-linked irregularly shaped (NLi)(5) substructures, which can be interpreted as two interconnected ladders.
