Examines Scottish case law on: (1) the enforceability of child contact orders where a parent's behaviour results in them being held in contempt of court, or more severely, as in the case of Re M (Intractable Contact Dispute: Interim Care Order), raises concerns about whether the child should remain in their care; (2) the difficulty in determining whether, in a case where a child under 16 is involved in sexual activity, they are a criminal or victim; and (3) the petitions to include Scotland as a jurisdiction which allows same-sex marriages to take place.
