Metal forming has for many years maintained its position as the most efficient method of shaping metals and alloys. The possibility of controlling the properties of final products by careful control of the condition of deformation is now the principal advantage of metal forming which makes this technique competitive. Therefore, metal forming continues to be an important industrial process attracting the interest of scientists and researchers throughout the world.
