Abstract

In order to understand the complexity of cellular signaling pathways as nonlinear autonomous systems, their regulation mechanisms and robustness properties, the system dynamic characteristics of cellular networks were analyzed using perspectives of engineering and information sciences. Taking the NF-κB signaling transduction networks as an example , dynamic sensitivity analysis, nonlinear dynamic analysis were explored to study the parametric sensitivities and oscillation patterns with respect to the system output of cell signal transduction networks. The simulation results demonstrated that the output signal NF-κBn is relatively sensitive to eight key rate constants and the oscillation behavior of NF-κBn is obviously affected by the negative feedback function of IKK.
