Abstract

‘Make care incredible – with love part of the deal’ was the slogan for the event which set the tone for a thought-provoking and inspiring day - and it was just that! Children’s Homes Quality (CHQ) is a small organisation with a big heart. They provide independent services to children’s homes across the country, supporting them to provide outstanding care to the children in their homes. The organisers, Margaret Davies, Training and Development Lead, and Valerie Tulloch, Director, certainly delivered on their promise to stimulate thought and reflection and to motivate those attending to develop their love-led practice.
