Abstract

This podcast is part of a programme of work being taken forward by the Fraser of Allander Institute looking at support and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in Scotland. Our first report, published last month highlighted that, often, the voices of people with learning disabilities are not heard. The Coronavirus crisis has brought many of these issue to the fore, making their voices more important than ever. In this podcast, we hear directly from Maggie and Keith from PeopleFirst who tell us the impact of some of the decisions taken and where support for people with learning disabilities has fallen short. We also hear from Rob from the Fraser of Allander Institute who tells us what to expect from our programme of work going forward, and how to get in touch.
