Abstract
A review of emerging trends in Digital Health and Care was requested by TEC to help inform the future direction of the programme and support wider digital interests in Scotland. As the digital environment is fast-paced and constantly fluctuating, the trends which are identified capture the position of the Digital Health and Care sector at Autumn 2018, with a probable ‘shelf-life’ of around 3 - 5 years. This report provides an overview of the emerging trends in digital health and care but does not claim to be exhaustive. The report is based on rigorous research but has not been subjected to academic peer-review process and should therefore not be read as such.
