Abstract

In high-precision cold forming, the workpiece and mold temperature changes directly affect the forming precision of the workpiece.Through the process of mechanical extrusion of mechanical thermo-mechanical coupling finite element simulation of the material flow, due to plastic deformation and contact between the friction The heat generated in the workpiece and the mold, the heat exchange between the workpiece and the mold, the temperature distribution in the workpiece and the mold during and after the forming process, and the mechanical and thermodynamic properties of the workpiece and the mold The effects of processing conditions such as the speed of the punch and the friction coefficient on the distribution of temperature in the workpiece and the die were studied. The results of finite element simulation show that the influence of the thermal expansion and cooling in the forming process, The change of temperature will affect the forming accuracy of the workpiece. The performance of the workpiece has a decisive influence on the heat generation and the temperature distribution; the change of the processing conditions will affect the temperature level and distribution.
