Abstract
Mixed-metal reagents [NaMg(CHSiMe)] (1) and [(THF)NaMg(NPh)(THF)] [3-(THF)] can act as precatalysts to selectively promote the hydroamination/trimerization of isocyanates (RNCO) depending on the steric bulk of the R substituent.
