Abstract
In Brothers in the Great War: Siblings, Masculinity and Emotions, Linda Maynard presents a study of emotions, masculinity, and cultural history of siblinghood by looking at the relationships between brothers in the First World War. By exploring relationships between brothers serving and non-serving in the war, Maynard demonstrates how servicemen felt about their siblings and families as well as their own soldiering and the impact it had on their lives.
