Abstract
The sentence "Common unique PIDs for research management information are strongly encouraged" features under technical requirements for journals and publishing platforms and also for institutional and subject repositories in the new UKRI Open Access policy. There's an additional hint at "for example identifiers for funders and/or organisations" besides a requirement for ORCIDs, but the PID landscape is currently in flux and there's quite a few other ones starting to emerge (such as grant IDs, RAiDs or PIDs for research equipment and facilities). This lightning talk will summarise the various PIDs that could eventually be addressed from an institutional perspective and the early stages of their adoption.
