Abstract
Scotland's seven cities (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Stirling) – "the seven cities" – make a significant contribution to Scotland's economy. They share a number of strengths, from their skilled workforce, their international reputation and their location for some of the country's major economic and cultural assets. But they also have marked differences. It is against this backdrop that the Scottish Cities Alliance commissioned the Fraser of Allander Institute to draft this Cities Outlook Report
