Abstract

Examines whether new types of high-order hydrodynamic equations (derived from the underlying kinetic theory of gases to extend the validity of the classical Navier-Stokes equations) could form part of a practical and effective solution to the development of high-order switching criteria for hybrid continuum-molecular micro gas flow solvers.
