Abstract

The presentation introduces the Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER) and its Task Force for Open Science (TFOS). The various worklines addressed by the Open Access WG under the CESAER TFOS are summarised, making emphasis on the value of an international collaboration in the area across institutions very well aligned from a disciplinary viewpoint. With many technical universities from German-speaking countries being CESAER members, the presentation also puts out a call to establish partnerships with national-level projects working in the area of Open Access implementation in the Engineering Sciences.
