Abstract

This special issue of Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion contains the papers from plenary and invited presentations at the 42nd European Physical Society Conference on Plasma Physics. The papers represent the diverse topics discussed at the meeting and the expanding scope of plasma physics, ranging from magnetic and laser fusion plasmas, plasma accelerators, space and astrophysical plasmas, low temperature and fundamental plasmas and industrial applications of plasmas.
