Abstract
For the fourth quarter in a row the index of industrial production and construction in Scotland registered a fall when the results for the second quarter 1986 were released. The index was down 0.3% from the first quarter 1986 figure (which, in turn, had been revised upwards by 0.4% from the previous production index new release) and stood at 99.3 (1980=100).
