Abstract

This book is the fourth in a series of volumes under the general heading ‘Gender and Well-being’. Like the first two volumes (Harris et al. 2009; Addabbo et al. 2010), it is based on a set of papers which were originally presented at a symposium funded by COST (european Cooperation in Science and Technology). The symposium was hosted by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas in Madrid, and was organised by Paloma de Villota, elisabetta addis, Florence degavre and John eriksen
