The present invention relates to a composition for targeted delivery of a bioactive molecule to cells in a body of a recipient, said composition comprising a polypropylenimine dendrimer and/or derivatives thereof to which one or more cell targeting molecule (s) have been conjugated thereto; and a bioactive molecule associated with said polypropylenimine dendrimer and/or derivative thereof. In one embodiment the cells to be targeted are cancer cells. The targeting molecule may be transferrin, lactoferrin, lactoferricin or gambogic acid. There is also provided uses of such compositions, as well as methods of treating diseases, such as cancer.
