Abstract

This report has been prepared by EKOS in response to a commission by The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) to undertake an evaluation of the impact and added value of INTERREG IIIB Community Initiative in UK (2000-2006) (referred to as the “Programme”). The assignment started in January 2003 and will be completed in December 2006. The INTERREG IIIB Programmes: Atlantic Area; North Sea Region; and North West Europe are included in this study. Following the Interim Report, submitted in 2003, this is the first of three Annual Reports presenting findings from consultation programmes and project fieldwork undertaken in January and February 2004.
