Abstract
In this letter, we discuss the use of cyclic arrayed waveguide gratings in the construction of a multiplexed fiber-optic sensor system. The basic components are described and their role in interrogating sensors is discussed. The letter concludes with a proposed design for an expansive, low cost, highly maintainable system.
