Abstract

This report presents an analysis of the science faculty staff and their experience of knowledge exchange projects. 113 completed survey responses are analysed, corresponding to 14.1% of science faculty staff. The survey responses are weighted to match the demographics of science faculty staff. The systematic uncertainties are estimated by sampling the survey responses to build pseudo data sets, which are used to build a standard deviation band. 70% of the surveyed staff completed a KE project. Women and staff who were born outside the UK have performed less KE projects and are interested in becoming more involved. In particular, women request more internal networking to support KE activities. The majority of staff report no identity-related barriers to performing KE projects.
