Abstract
Comments on the 19th century decision in Webb v M’Feat (1878) SCR 669, concerning a cat which was alleged to have killed the pursuer's carrier-pigeon, and observes how the law relating to liability for wrongdoing effected by animals has changed in the century and a half since that decision.
