Abstract
This article reflects on the utility of co-design diary methods facilitated by collaborating third sector organisations with women living in poverty during the cost-of-living crisis in Scotland. The article argues that research underpinned by a feminist ethics of care, and expressed via co-design diary methods can challenge latent power dynamics in research, provide meaningful outlets for marginalised experiences, as well as fostering cross-positional solidarities. Critical reflections and learning are discussed, including the relative merits and challenges of co-design diary methods.
