Abstract

Considers JWE v LGBT Youth Scotland (OH), a claim by a former service user who alleged that, while aged 15, he was groomed by employees of LGBT Youth Scotland and introduced to adult venues, which in turn led to his sexual abuse by older men, exploring the defendant's argument that Scots law did not recognise grooming as a standalone delict so it could not be liable for harm caused by third parties.
