Abstract

Zahara Gómez Lucini (Spain, 1983), an Argentinian–Spanish photographer and archive researcher, collaborated with the collective Las Rastreadoras del Fuerte (Mexico) to create the photographic project Recetario para la memoria (Mexico, 2020). It is a recipe book that mothers of victims of enforced disappearance used to share personal aspects of their missing relatives. The book is illustrated with Gómez Lucini’s pictures. This article analyses the project as a memory device, a searching means, a way to identify allies and as an anti-monument.
