Abstract

This analysis by the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) and NHS Lothian explores the co-design of future digital service pathways for weight management. Through workshops with healthcare professionals, the report identifies challenges in triage, referral, and assessment, and proposes digital tools for self-assessment, validated data collection, and community-aligned support. The focus is on scalable, sustainable models that enhance access, communication, and citizen empowerment within weight management services.
