Abstract

This project report, produced by the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) in partnership with Asthma UK and Edinburgh Napier University, explores new models of asthma care in Scotland. Using participatory design, the project engaged citizens, health professionals, and third sector partners to map current care pathways, identify challenges, and co-design future digital solutions. The report highlights the potential of citizen-driven data, interactive care plans, and digital self-management tools to improve outcomes and support personalised, sustainable asthma care.
