Abstract

This report presents the key results from the Fraser of Allander Institute’s (FAI) latest Scottish Business Monitor for the third quarter of 2025. Over 200 businesses from 31 of Scotland’s 32 local authorities participated in the survey, revealing businesses’ relationship with the Scottish Government, preparedness for the Net Zero transition, current business activity, and expectations for the economy over the next year.
