Abstract
Intercultural couples experience various distinct challenges and are tasked with learning how to effectively approach such challenges by capitalizing on their unique benefits. This study sought to explore the lived experiences and challenges of intercultural couples while they co-create a third culture using semi-structured interviews of 10 participants. Qualitative analysis proposed a narrative, beginning with the complex onset, followed by distinct conflicts, and culminating with bridging the gap. The findings could perhaps inform culturally sensitive interventions that seek to support intercultural couples.
