Abstract
Meet The RECCO Crew is an illustrated book series that turns the abstract entrepreneurship concepts of Resilience, Empathy, Collaboration, Creativity and Optimism into fun cartoon characters. This makes it easier for children to grasp and relate to these important entrepreneurship skills. Entrepreneurial skills are not just for starting new businesses. They help people try new things, solve complex problems, and work well with others to create novel solutions. In our current fast-changing world that requires constant innovation and adaptation, entrepreneurial skills are increasingly becoming life skills for all young people. This story illustrates how communities can come together to address everyone’s needs through novel solutions. This requires taking on board feedback from all stakeholders, as well as the natural environment. The ultimate purpose of this story is to highlight how much time, effort and communication is required to create solutions that work for everyone.
