Abstract

The Department for the Economy funded the Fraser of AIlander Institute (FAI) at the University of Strathclyde to undertake independent research to investigate the potential economy wide impacts of energy efficiency improvements in Northern Ireland. This followed the receipt of a research proposal from FAI in June 2023 as part of the department’s energy related Open Call for research proposals. This report summarises the work undertaken, including the methodology, detailed results and conclusions.
