This consultation response, prepared by the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) and partners including NHS Education for Scotland, Public Health Scotland, and Healthcare Improvement Scotland, outlines key recommendations for Scotland’s Data Strategy. It emphasises the importance of decision support, data standards, interoperability, and staff skills, advocating for a learning health system that mobilises data into actionable knowledge and supports safe, effective, and person-centred care.
