Abstract

Entanglement is a key tool in quantum technologies, such as quantum networking or quantum sensing. The use of satellite-mediated networks has been proposed as a solution to overcome optical fiber's poor loss scaling and offer global coverage. Therefore, there is a requirement for rugged and high brightness sources of entangled photons, compatible with satellite deployment.
