Abstract

This volume of Adjunct Proceedings includes the Panels, Alternative Events, and Poster submissions to the CoLIS 2025 conference. CoLIS is a series of international conferences aiming to provide a broad forum for the exploration and exchange of ideas in the field of Library and Information Science, Information Studies, and related disciplines. Since its inception in Tampere, Finland in 1991 this periodic event keeps being a testimony to the scholarly rigour, creativity, innovation, and resilience of the Library and Information Science community. The 12th CoLIS conference has come back to Glasgow on the 2nd-5th of June 2025, hosted by the Technology Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde. CoLIS visited Glasgow for its 6th edition in 2005 and was hosted then as well by the University of Strathclyde. The CoLIS 2025 program successfully reflects both core topics in Library and Information Science such as Information Behaviour and Library Studies, and emerging areas of strong research focus such as Artificial Intelligence, Censorship, Diversity and Democracy, and Critical Librarianship.
