This study measured active, sagittal, knee joint motion prior to and up to 2 years following total knee arthroplasty (TKA) using a system of electrogoniometry. Two randomised group of patients one with and one without patella resurfacing were compared to a group of normal age matched subjects. This paper was presented at the 13th annual meeting of the European Society of Movement Analysis for Adults and Children in 2004.
