Abstract

This report is a manual which describes the theory which underpins WindPanel, a piece of software developed to model both horizontal and vertical axis wind turbines. Also included in the manual is a user manual section

    Notes:This output is the result of an EPSRC-funded project, for which the author was required to develop software that can simulate the aerodynamics of wind turbines to medium/high fidelity. Subsequent to this project, the code has been used by researchers in the Wind and Marine CDT. In order to provide proper credit, researchers who are now writing papers based on the software are requested to cite the manual so that it is clear that the above noted author created the original software code.
