Abstract

The volume, entitled Rethinking Neera, comprises nine essays on the turn-of-the-century Italian woman writer Anna Radius Zuccari, in art Neera, by leading scholars from around the world. It also includes the first translation into English of Neera’s short story ‘Falena’ (1893), by Martha King. Prof. Ramsey-Portolano also contributed the essay “A modern reading of Neera’s maternal instinct” and co-wrote the Introduction.
